Metzler Leads Impressive Performances at Terrier Invitational

RESULTS
BOSTON – Freshman Anna Metzler (Regensburg, Germany) won the 500 free (out of 44 overall swimmers), 200 IM (out of 60) and 400 IM (out of 33) as the University of New Hampshire swimming and diving team placed fifth out of eight teams at the Terrier Invitational. Her time in the 400 IM (4:15.13) was the 26th fastest time in the nation this season.

- On the final day of competition, sophomore Michaela Degnan (Narragansett, R.I.) placed fourth in the 200 back with a career-best time of 2:03.74. Metzler won the B final with a career-best time of 2:01.00.
- Sophomore Corinne Carbone (Medway, Mass.) was fourth in the 200 breast with her second fastest time ever at 2:18.77. Sophomore Miranda Bacon (Scotia, N.Y.) was fifth with a career-best time of 2:20.08.
- The Wildcats dominated the 200 fly earning second and fourth place. Senior Vivienne El-Sibay (Munich, Germany) was second with a career-best time of 2:02.85. Sophomore Paige Hillis (Mississauga, Ontario) placed fourth with a career-best time of 2:04.90.
