Metzler Wins Her Third Event at the Terrier Invitational

BOSTON – Freshman Anna Metzler (Regensburg, Germany) won the 400 IM with the 26th best time this year in the nation (4:15.13) as the University of New Hampshire swimming and diving team competed on day two of the Terrier Invitational.

- The Wildcats dominated the 400 IM earning first, second and fourth place. Metzler won with a career best time of 4:15.13. The time was the 26th best in the nation this season. Sophomore Corinne Carbone (Medway, Mass.) was second with a time of 4:17.96, while Paige Hillis (Mississauga, Ontario) placed fourth with a time of 4:25.00.
- Senior Vivienne El-Sibay (Munich, Germany) placed fourth in the 100 fly with a career-best time of 55.79.
- Sophomore Miranda Bacon (Scotia, N.Y.) set her career-best time in the 100 breast when she swam a 1:04.35 for sixth place.
