BOSTON – Freshman Anna Metzler (Regensburg, Germany) won the 400 IM with the 26th best time this year in the nation (4:15.13) as the University of New Hampshire swimming and diving team competed on day two of the Terrier Invitational.

The Wildcats will conclude competition at the Terrier Invitational on Nov. 18.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Wildcats dominated the 400 IM earning first, second and fourth place. Metzler won with a career best time of 4:15.13. The time was the 26th best in the nation this season. Sophomore Corinne Carbone (Medway, Mass.) was second with a time of 4:17.96, while Paige Hillis (Mississauga, Ontario) placed fourth with a time of 4:25.00.
Senior Vivienne El-Sibay (Munich, Germany) placed fourth in the 100 fly with a career-best time of 55.79.
Sophomore Miranda Bacon (Scotia, N.Y.) set her career-best time in the 100 breast when she swam a 1:04.35 for sixth place.
