BOSTON – Freshman Anna Metzler (Regensburg, Germany) won the 500 free and 200 IM as the University of New Hampshire swimming and diving team competed on day one of the Terrier Invitational.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Metzler won the 500 free event out of 44 overall swimmers who competed with a career best time of 4:52.87.
- The Wildcats then placed first and second in the 200 IM out of 60. Metzler won with a career best time of 2:01.35, while sophomore Corinne Carbone (Medway, Mass.) placed second with a time of 2:01.65.
- Junior Allison Stefanelli (Loudonville, N.Y.) finished second in the three-meter diving event out of 20 overall divers with a score of 252.05.
