- BC extended the advantage to 2-0 at 28:53 on another corner. The initial shot by Haverhals was stopped by Rudert. The ball was deadened in front of the goalmouth and, from a scrum of four players, Warner pushed a shot into the cage.
- The visitors led by that two-goal margin at halftime despite being outshot 5-4 in the opening 35 minutes. The corners were even at 3.
- Boston College converted another corner into the third goal of the game at 39:13 when Govaert scored on a direct shot inside the right post. The battery of Alesandra Miller and Chelcie Mendonca set up the goal.
- McGovern capped the game scoring with 47 seconds left in regulation as she corralled a thru-ball for a 1v1 with Rudert. McGovern evaded the oncoming goalie by pulling the ball to the right side and lifting a shot into the open cage.
