DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire Department of Athletics announced a $99 season ticket for the 2016 UNH football season at the brand new Wildcat Stadium, which is set to open in 99 days (Sept. 10) with a non-conference matchup against the College of the Holy Cross.
The "99 Dollars, 99 Days" kickoff countdown comes at a time when season tickets are selling at a faster pace than anticipated by the athletic department. Nearly 75 percent of premium tickets have been sold, but limited tickets still remain in the Service Credit Union Victory Club as well as box seating and reserved seating areas.
These seats are closest to the home sideline and have proximity to new amenities that include concession stands with a wide range of offerings and convenient restrooms. The Service Credit Union Victory Club contains indoor and outdoor access complete with premium parking and an all-you-can-eat buffet for a gameday experience unlike any other in New England.
The newly-announced $99 season ticket will give fans tickets to all five regular-season games in the new home of the Wildcats, including such premium dates as the home opener (Sept. 10), Homecoming (Oct. 1) and Family Weekend (Oct. 15).
"The 99 days to buy a $99-season ticket package is important because we want to be sure this stadium represents everything for everybody - to mean that there's a very high-end experience if you're so inclined to join the Service Credit Union Victory Club, and we have some very affordable options for people who want to bring their children to the game," said UNH athletics director Marty Scarano. "That's been the base philosophy since we went down this road and first conceived the stadium."
More information on season tickets and Wildcat Stadium is available online or by calling 603-862-1763.
The UNH football team has established itself as a powerhouse in Division I FCS football. The Wildcats have qualified for the NCAA playoffs each of the past 12 seasons, which is the longest current streak in the country.
