Women's Hoops Faces Maine in America East Quarterfinal Matchup on ESPN3 (Mar. 5, Noon)

DURHAM, N.H. – No. 7 seed University of New Hampshire women's basketball travels to Binghamton University to take on no. 2 University of Maine in the America East Quarterfinals on Saturday, March 5 at noon.

New Hampshire (12-17, 6-10 AE) vs. Maine (24-7, 15-1 AE)
All-time series: Maine leads the series 50-30 and defeated the Wildcats in both regular season games this year.
Tournament Record: UNH is 1-6 all-time in the tournament against Maine.

With a win, the Wildcats will play Sunday, March 6 (2 p.m.) against the winner of #3 Stony Brook and #6 Hartford. UNH split the regular-season series with both of those teams. Against each opponent they won at home after previously losing on the road.
