Women's Hoops Closes Out Regular Season at UMBC (Feb. 28, 1 p.m.)

DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team travels to the University of Maryland, Baltimore County for its regular-season finale on Sunday, Feb. 28 at 1 p.m. at the RAC Arena.

LOOKING AHEAD:
The America East tournament opens with quarterfinal games at the Events Center at Binghamton University on Saturday, March 5. UNH is the seventh seed and will face either the University at Albany or the University of Maine. Tickets are available by calling the Binghamton box office at (607) 777-2849.

STORYLINES:

The Wildcats had their three-game win streak snapped in Thursday night's home loss to Vermont.
Senior Elizabeth Belanger (Acton, Mass.) ranks No. 6 on UNH's all-time scoring list with 1,410 points and eighth on the rebounding chart with 691.
Next up: The Wildcats are the No. 7 seed for the America East tournament that opens with quarterfinal and semifinal round games at Binghamton next Saturday, March 5 and Sunday, March 6.
Belanger averages 16.8 points and seven rebounds a game. Those numbers rank her fourth and eighth in the league, respectively.

PROJECTED STARTERS:
G: So. Peyton Booth (Wadsworth, Ohio) - Had four assists for second straight game to match career high against Vermont.
G: So. Aliza Simpson (Londonderry, N.H.) - Second on team with 2.4 assists a game.
G: Sr. Elizabeth Belanger (Acton, Mass.) - Made all eight of her free throws against Vermont.
F: Sr. Stephanie Spoto (Pittsford, N.Y.) - Hit double figures in rebounds for first time in her career with 12 vs. Vermont.
C: Jr. Carlie Pogue (Cincinnati, Ohio) - All eight of her points vs. Vermont came in third quarter.
