Scott Rigoli is in his sixth year as Head Coach of the UNH Cheerleading team in 2021-22. He was hired alongside Brad Burlamachi in fall of 2016. Together they coached and transformed the UNH Cheerleading program into NCA National Champions in 2017. At NCA Camp in 2017, 2018, & 2019 the team has earned Gold Paid Bids to the NCA National Championship in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Previously, Scott coached at Boston University from 2012-2016. The team competed in All-Girl D1 Finals at NCA College Nationals in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
Scott is currently the head coach for the varsity cheerleading team at Dracut High School in Dracut, Mass., where he has coached since 2006. During his tenure, Dracut has won 15 MSAA Cheerleading State Championship Titles and 4 NCA High School National Champion Titles.
Scott formerly coached All-Star cheerleading at East Celebrity Elite in Tewksbury, Mass. Since he started coaching at ECE in 2009, his teams have had many successes including Senior 4.2 Summit Champions in 2013 & 2014, Senior Level 3 NCA Champions in 2013, and International All-Girl Level 5 Worlds Finalist in 2015, 2016, & 2018.
Aside from coaching full time, Scott owns his own business as a professional cheerleading choreographer. He has choreographed many college, high school, and all-star teams’ routines across New England and in various parts of the country. Scott is an AACCA Safety Certified College and High School Cheerleading Coach, and is USASF Safety Certified. He’s certified in Concussions in Sports, CPR, and First Aide.
Scott is originally from Bellingham, Mass. He was a competitive USAG Gymnast for over 10 years. After gymnastics, he went on to cheerleading at various all star gyms including East Elite, Celebrity Cheer, ECE, and Encore Cheer Company in Miami, Fla.
