Souris transitioned to role of Assistant Director, Ticket Operations on Dec. 12, 2022. He is responsible for matters pertaining to customer service, athletic ticket sales and operations, distribution of marketing materials, special event preparation and administrative information systems.
Pete returned to UNH in his second season with the Wildcats as Assistant Director of Communications in 2021-22, after serving the 2020-21 season as a Production Assistant with UNH Wildcat Productions.
In six years at UMass Lowell, he oversaw the athletic communications office and was responsible for media relations efforts for all River Hawks' 18 Division I intercollegiate sports, serving as the primary media contact for the nationally ranked men's hockey team, volleyball and men's lacrosse programs.
He was honored with the Joe Concannon Hockey East Media Award in September of 2017, he is the first non-media member to win the honor in the 30-year history of the award.Â

Souris spent more than six years as the Assistant Commissioner for Public Relations at the Hockey East Association. At Hockey East, he supported 11-member institutions in a media relations capacity, served as the media coordinator for six Hockey East Championships at the TD Garden and was the media coordinator for two sold out Frozen Fenway events at Fenway Park in 2010 and 2012. In addition, he was charged with creating a digital media plan for the conference's website and social media channels, as well as serving as the liaison for the league's national and regional television partners, including NBC Sports Network, CBS Sports Network and NESN. Souris has worked the last 21 Hockey East Tournaments and the last 19 Beanpot Tournament at the TD Garden in Boston.

Souris previously spent six years from 2001-2007 working in the athletics media relations department at the University of New Hampshire, serving as the primary contact for nationally ranked men's hockey program, women's volleyball and women's crew. Also, he served as the media coordinator for the 2004 and 2007 NCAA hockey regionals in Manchester, N.H. He managed athletic department website in 2007, which includes daily content updates and basic weekly maintenance. He led an on-campus group to help develop a brand-new functional website at a lower more affordable cost for the department (www.unhwildcats.com). Souris also served as the secondary contact for the nationally ranked football team.

He has also worked the last 11 years for the Boston Bruins as a video replay technician in the officials video room. He has worked three Stanley Cup Finals series in 2011, 2013 and 2019.
Souris has served as associate graphics producer for the last 15 years working for clients such as, CBS Sports Network, NBC Sports Network, ESPN, NESN, Altitude, ACC Network, Kraft Sports Productions, SNY, NBC Sports Boston and other various rights holders, which include the Boston Celtics, New England Patriots, Connecticut Sun, New England Revolution, UConn Women's Basketball, Providence College men's basketball and Major League Lacrosse.
Souris has worked the last 21Â of the last 22Â Frozen Fours in a media relations capacity, dating back to 2000 in Providence, R.I., which included two appearances with the Wildcats in 2002 and 2003 in Minneapolis and Buffalo.

The Beverly, Mass., native earned his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology: Sport Studies at the University of New Hampshire in 2001. He also has his associate's degree in restaurant/hospitality management from UNH's Thompson School, graduating in 1997. Souris is also a proud 1995 graduate of Beverly High School, where he played on the Panthers' tennis and golf teams and served all four years at the varsity men's basketball team manager for Head Coach Tom Donovan.
