Matt oversees direct annual fund marketing efforts, leads key donor appeals, and works closely with coaches and sport administrators to ensure a well-rounded, sport-specific fundraising approach. Additionally, he fosters relationships with alumni, fans, partners, and key stakeholders, actively soliciting gifts to support UNH's Division I athletic programs.Â
Prior to his time at UNH, Kordonsky served as the Assistant Director of the Annual Fund at Army West Point Athletics, where he led fundraising initiatives, cultivated and managed relationships with a large portfolio of donors, and successfully grew the A Club’s donor count and achieving record setting annual fund gifts. He also played a key role in overseeing the donor Army Navy ticketing operations, contributed to the successful fundraising for the $170 million Michie Stadium Preservation capital project, and supported various donor engagements and stewardship efforts.
Matt graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in May 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and a minor in Finance. While attending FDU, Kordonsky interned with MLS's New York Red Bulls as a Special Events Sales and Operations Representative, where he managed the selling, planning, and execution of all special events at the arena. During his time at Army, he returned to Fairleigh to pursue his MBA that he completed in May 2024. He currently resides in the Greater Boston area.
