Kevin Connelly '91, ‘22G joined UNH Athletics in 2019 and was named Director of Athletics Development on June 27, 2022. In this role, Connelly oversees the Athletics fundraising team responsible for building financial support for UNH Athletics by connecting the interests of alumni, parents and friends with the fundraising priorities of the university. His primary focus involves securing major gifts to support endowments, facility projects and other Athletics initiatives. Connelly’s background in strategic communications and fundraising, coupled with his passion for the Wildcats, has heightened the level of engagement for stakeholders across athletics.

Since joining UNH in 2006, Connelly has held several roles within University Advancement, including Communications Project Manager with the Communications and Public Affairs team and Annual Giving Officer for the Paul College of Business and Economics. During his previous professional experience, Connelly served as an editor/technical director at WHDH-TV and promotions editor/producer at WBZ-TV in Boston, where he earned multiple Emmy Awards for his promotional work. He also served as a field producer for New England Patriots games on the FOX and CBS television networks.

A New Hampshire native, Connelly graduated with a Sports Communications degree from UNH in 1991 and later earned his MBA from UNH’s Paul College of Business and Economics. He and his wife, Cori ’91, are proud UNH Parents to their sons Quinn ’18 and Cade ’23, as well as their son, Cal, who is a 2022 graduate of Assumption University where he played basketball for the Greyhounds.
