- Email:
Cam O'Brien is currently in his second season as the equipment manager for the UNH men's hockey team in 2025-26.
He joined the Wildcats' staff after five years as a sales associate and assistant pro-shop manager at the New England Sports Center in Marlboro, Massachusetts—a 306,000-square-foot facility with eight full-sized hockey rinks. There, he honed his skills in equipment maintenance and repair, skate sharpening, jersey inventory, and gear organization for junior players.
Throughout college, Cam worked at several local rinks to stay connected to the hockey community. He graduated from Bridgewater State University in 2023 with a degree in Marketing and additional coursework in Business Management.
Cam has deep ties to UNH—his father is an alumnus, and his sister is a recent graduate. Having grown up attending Wildcat hockey games, he is proud to now contribute to the program he has a strong history with.
Originally from Hudson, Massachusetts, where he currently resides, Cam is a passionate fan of all New England sports teams, especially the Bruins, Red Sox, and Patriots. In his free time, you’ll often find him on the ice or the golf course.
