Women's Hockey Announces Meet the Team Event

Fans will get the opportunity to Skate with the ‘Cats following the Blue-White scrimmage.
DURHAM, N.H. — The University of New Hampshire women's ice hockey team kicks off the 2026-27 season by welcoming fans to the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group Complex on Sunday, Sept. 13, for the UNH Women's Hockey Meet the Team event. Fans will have the chance to meet this year's Wildcats, see the team take the ice and get an inside look at the squad ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
Festivities kick off at 10 a.m., as the Wildcats hit the ice for a Blue-White scrimmage, giving fans their first chance to see the 2026-27 squad in action.
Following the scrimmage, fans of all ages are invited to 'Skate with the 'Cats.' The event offers supporters of the Wildcats a chance to share the ice with their favorite players while the team meets fans, signs autographs, and takes pictures in the bench area.
Fans participating in 'Skate with the 'Cats' are asked to bring their own skates, as rental skates will not be available. Snacks will be available on the concourse behind Sections 116-117.
