Service Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week: Olivia Chamberlain and Nathan Fletcher

DURHAM, N.H. – Junior Olivia Chamberlain (Warnerville, N.Y.) of the University of New Hampshire women's track & field team and sophomore Nathan Fletcher (Portsmouth, N.H.) of the UNH men's track & field team have been named the Service Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week on May 6.
Olivia Chamberlain placed in two individual events at the 2024 America East Outdoor Track & Field Championships that were held May 4-5 at UMBC. She contributed eight points to UNH's team total with those pair of top-8 finishes.
Olivia opened the weekend with a mark of 5.67 meters (18 feet, 7.25 inches) in the long jump to place third among 29 competitors. Then on Sunday, her leap of 11.40m (37-5) in the triple jump placed seventh among the 15 entrants.
The UNH women's track & field team returns to action May 10-11 at the New England Championships, which will be held at the College of the Holy Cross.

Nathan Fletcher became the America East champion of the 400 meter with a personal-best time of 47.20 seconds at the conference championship meet, which was held May 4-5 at UMBC. He had advanced to the finals by running the second-fastest qualifying time of 48.22 among the 27 sprinters in the 400m.
Nathan was also part of a pair of UNH sprint relays that placed in the top eight to earn points for the Wildcats. He ran the second leg of the 4x100m relay that earned sixth place with a time of 41.95 seconds. Nathan also ran the second leg of UNH's eighth-place quartet in the 4x400m relay that crossed the finish line in 3:20.85.
