FIRST QUARTER:
- Junior guard Clara Gomez (Barcelona, Spain) scored the first point of the game for the 'Cats with a jumper.
- With 4 minutes left on the clock, senior guard Adara Groman (Scituate, Mass) scored 2 with a driving layup.
- Sophomore forward Lucia Melero Sabat (Barcelona, Spain) took the first free throws for UNH and got both shots in.
- Senior guard Belen Morales Lopez (Alicante, Spain) scored a layup with just two seconds left on the clock.
- The quarter ended with a score of 13-8, Catamounts in the lead.
SECOND QUARTER:
- At the nine-minute mark, senior guard Bella Stuart (Clifton Park, N.Y.) scored the first point of the quarter for the 'Cats with a free throw.
- Sophomore guard Breezie Williams (Canton, Ohio) got on the board with a jumper.
- Bella Stuart scored 2 points for UNH from a layup, with 5 minutes left in the half.
- Shortly after, sophomore guard Diana Eliasson (Stockholm, Sweden) scored the 'Cats another 2 points from a jumper.
- Sophomore guard Avery O'Connor (Dedham, Mass) sank the first three-pointer of the game for the 'Cats.
- The half ended with a score of 37-21, Catamounts in the lead.
THIRD QUARTER:
- Groman scored the first 2 points of the quarter for UNH. This turned into a 6 point run for the 'Cats, as Stuart scored a layup shortly after. O'Connor then scored 2 points from free throws.
- With 5 minutes on the clock, Stuart scored with a jumper and a free throw. She now leads UNH with 11 points in the game.
- The Catamounts then went on a 15 point run, and the quarter ended with a score of 59-32, Catamounts still in the lead.
FOURTH QUARTER:
- Freshman guard Maggie Cavanaugh (Point Pleasant Beach, N.J.) sank a three pointer just 40 seconds into the fourth quarter.
- With 6:31 on the clock, Gomez scored two points for UNH from foul shots.
- Groman scored her third jumper of the game, giving the 'Cats 2 points.
- The 'Cats fought hard, but were unable to catch the lead. The quarter ended with a score of 75-41, Catamounts win.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- UNH finished the game with a higher free throw percentage (81.3% to 63.6%).
- The Wildcats led with more offensive rebounds (12-9).
