Ella Guilfoil Earns AE Swimmer of the Week Accolades for Third Time this Season

Guilfoil won three events versus Rhode Island.
BOSTON – Sophomore Ella Guilfoil (Fairport, N.Y.) of the University of New Hampshire swimming and diving team was named the America East Swimmer of the Week for her performance in the 166-134 win versus Rhode Island on Jan. 13. This is the third time she has earned this accolade as she also won earlier this season on Oct. 24 and Nov. 7.
Guilfoil won three individual events taking the 100 back (57.03), 200 back (2:03.00) and 200 IM (2:06.40) versus the Rams. She also led off the 200 medley relay team that placed first (1:45.46).
The Wildcats, who are 4-1 this season, return to action versus UConn at Swasey Pool on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 1 p.m. for Senior Day.
