DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team fell to the University of Maine in the Border Battle, presented by Buffalo Wild Wings.

Senior guard Bella Stuart (Clifton Park, N.Y.) scored a season-high 14 points in the game.

FIRST QUARTER:

Junior guard Clara Gomez (Barcelona, Spain) scored the opening points of the game.
Early in the first Maine went on a 12-0 run scoring multiple consecutive three-pointers, extending their lead to 10 points.
The Black Bears maintained control for the remainder of the quarter finishing the first with a 13-point lead.

SECOND QUARTER:

The Black Bears started the second off hot scoring five points quickly.
'Cats began to regain their composure, scoring quickly before Maine was able to go on another run.
Maggie Cavanaugh (Point Pleasant Beach, N.J.) had two three-pointers in the quarter to help close the gap.

THIRD QUARTER:

Adrianna Smith of Maine scored the opening points of the second half.
UNH quickly responded with a three-pointer by sophomore guard Breezie Williams (Canton, Ohio).
The two teams battled back and forth, UNH began to chip into the Black Bear's lead closing it to just nine points.

FOURTH QUARTER:
