Wildcats Fall to Boston University, 56-47

BOSTON – The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team fell to Boston University 58-47 on Friday evening from Case Gymnasium in Boston.
Senior guard Adara Groman (Scituate, Mass.) led the team with 15 points. She also had two rebounds and a steal.
The Wildcats' record falls to 1-1 (0-0 AE) and Boston University's record improves to 2-0 (0-0 Patriot League).

· Junior guard Clara Gomez (Barcelona, Spain) was perfect in the paint for the Wildcats in the first quarter.
· UNH defense held strong in the first quarter, forcing turnovers, and scoring 14 points off them.
SECOND QUARTER:
· The Wildcats outscored the Terriers 11-7 in the second quarter to secure a one-point lead going into halftime.
THIRD QUARTER:
· UNH had three steals in the third quarter.
FOURTH QUARTER:
· The 'Cats out rebounded the Terriers in the fourth 10-9, four of which were offensive.
· Gomez had four of those 10 rebounds.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
