DURHAM, N.H. --Â Junior outside hitter Hannah Serbousek (Fort Collins, Colo.)Â of the volleyball team and sophomore quarterback Max Brosmer (Roswell, Ga.)Â of the football team were named the Service Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week on Sept. 19.
Â
Hannah was named the MVP of the George Mason Invitational, which was held Sept. 16-17, as she led the Wildcats to a perfect 3-0 record that included a pair of straight-set wins. Hannah tallied seven kills, which included the match-clinching kill in the final set, and 10 digs to give the 'Cats the 3-2 road victory in the tournament's opening match against George Mason on Friday night at the Recreation Athletic Complex. The set scores were 25-22, 22-25, 14-25, 25-15, and 15-11.
In the next match, Hannah amassed a match-high 12 kills with a .346 hitting percentage to go along with eight digs in the Wildcats' 3-0 victory vs. Morgan State. The set scores were 28-26, 25-20, and 25-8.
Hannah finished the tournament with a match-high 10 kills, .308 hitting percentage and 10 digs in UNH's 3-0 victory against University of Maryland Eastern Shore. The set scores were 25-11, 25-20, and 25-21.

The Wildcats return to action Wednesday, Sept. 21 at Merrimack. Match time from Hammel Court in North Andover, Mass. is 7 p.m. on NEC Front Row.
Max completed 26 of 45 passes for 296 yards and four touchdowns -- all career highs -- in the 25th-ranked UNH loss to North Carolina Central at Wildcat Stadium on Sept. 17. He found Heron Maurisseau (Bellport, N.Y.) on a picture-perfect 49-yard touchdown pass to record UNH's longest play from scrimmage this season and lift the 'Cats within 14-7 in the first quarter.
Max also connected with D.J. Linkins (District Heights, Md.) on a pair of TD strikes; the 15-yard pass play once again pulled UNH within seven points (21-14) in the second quarter and the duo combined again on a 3-yard scoring play to trim the deficit to 28-21 in the third quarter. Max hooked up with Sean Coyne (Portsmouth, R.I.) on 4th-and-goal for a 4-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Max completed passes to seven different receivers and targeted nine Wildcats overall.Â

The Wildcats returns to action Sept. 24 (4 p.m.) at Towson University.
