Wildcats Fall in Straight Sets at Bryant on Sunday

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The University of New Hampshire volleyball team fell in straight sets against Bryant on Sunday afternoon at Chace Athletic Center. The set scores were 20-25, 11-25 and 21-25.
The Wildcats drop to 12-7 overall (2-2 AE), while the Bulldogs improve to 12-8 overall (2-1 AE).
Junior outside hitter Hannah Serbousek (Fort Collins, Colo.) totaled a team-high eight kills, while sophomore right side hitter Marisa Armer (Bradenton, Fla.) added seven kills in the losing effort. Junior middle blocker Kelly Kaufmann (Raleigh, N.C.) chipped in with five kills and three total blocks.
Junior libero Mia Pagliarini (Springboro, Ohio) amassed nine digs.
UNH recorded 13 kills as a team with a .290 hitting percentage in the third and final frame.
Alysa Wright notched a match-high 13 kills in the victory for Bryant.
UNH returns to action on Wednesday, October 12 against Stonehill. Match time from Lundholm Gymnasium is 7 p.m. on ESPN+.
