UNH improves to 12-6 overall (2-1 AE) with the win, while the Highlanders fall to 6-14 overall (0-2 AE). The win marked win No. 300 for UNH head coach Christopher Feliciano in his NCAA coaching career, which includes 52 career victories with the Wildcats.
"I thought we played well in the first set and did just enough to finish the match in a positive way," said Feliciano. "While I am very proud of our team for being resilient we have to find a way to maintain momentum."
Oxenknecht finished the match with an impressive .393 hitting percentage and four total blocks. Junior outside hitter Hannah Serbousek (Fort Collins, Colo.) added 13 kills and eight digs in the victory for the Wildcats, while sophomore right side hitter Marisa Armer (Brandeton, Fla.) added 10 kills and hit at a .435 clip.

Junior libero Mia Pagliarini (Springboro, Ohio) added 20 digs in a strong defensive effort for the 'Cats. Freshman Avery LePore (Franklin, Tenn.) recored 12 digs in the America East win.
"I am very grateful for everyone that has had a hand in my success as a coach," stated Feliciano. "In order to get to this mark you have to have people not only believe in you, but they also have to support you. I have been blessed to have both during my career, from greet assistants to supportive administration, hard work athletes and finally my wife and family, I don't get here without them."
UNH notched 12 kills and a .294 hitting percentage in the opening frame and followed that up with 18 kills in the second stanza.
The Wildcats return to action on Sunday, October 8 at Bryant in America East play. Match time from Chace Athletic Center on ESPN+ is 1 p.m.
