BOSTON – Junior forward Harrison Blaisdell (Regina, Saskatchewan) scored for the Wildcats but the University of New Hampshire men's hockey team fell to Boston University, 3-1, on Friday evening at Agganis Arena.
The Wildcats fall to 7-8-1 (3-6-1 Hockey East), while the Terriers improve to 5-9-2 (4-5-2 Hockey East).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- At 5:02 of the first period, the Wildcats took a 1-0 lead when Blaisdell sent a wrist shot from the side of the net to the back of the goal for his second score of the season. Freshman defenseman Colton Huard (Foothill Ranch, Calif.) and senior forward Tyler Ward (Kamloops, British Columbia) each posted an assist on the goal.
- The Terriers tied the contest at 1-1 when Wilmer Skoog tipped in a shot by Matt Brown for a power play goal at 18:31 of the first period.
- BU went on a five-minute major power play and took advantage at 13:17 of the second period with a goal by Logan Cockerill as he buried the puck to the lower stick side of the net from the bottom of the faceoff circle.
- BU clinched the win with an empty net goal by Max Kaufman at 19:33 of the third period for the 3-1 final score.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Senior goalie Mike Robinson (Bedford, N.H.) made 31 saves, while Drew Commesso posted 29.
- BU outshot UNH by a 34-30 margin.
- The Wildcats went 0-3 on the power play, while the Terriers went 2-6.
