Amanda Torres totaled a team-high 15 points in the losing effort for the Wildcats

BOSTON – The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team was downed at Boston University, 60-47 on Monday night at the Case Center in non-conference play.

The Wildcats drop to 3-6 overall, while the Terriers improve to 4-5 overall on the season.

Graduate student guard Amanda Torres (Hudson, N.H.) led the Wildcats in the losing effort with 15 points, while junior forward Ivy Gogolin (Hopkinton, Mass.) chipped in with 10 points.

Junior guard Héléna Delaruelle (Enghien-Les-Bains, France) added seven points and eight rebounds in a solid all-around effort for the 'Cats.

Emily Esposito and Liz Shean each tallied a team-high 15 points in the victory for the Terriers.

The Wildcats won the turnover battle, 21-12 against Boston University and owned a 20-10 advantage in points in the paint.

UNH returns to action on Wednesday, December 22 against Merrimack College. Game time from Lundholm Gymnasium is 2 p.m. on ESPN+.
