DURHAM, N.H. -- The University of New Hampshire volleyball team earned a 3-0 America East victory against Stony Brook on Sunday afternoon at Lundholm Gymnasium. The set scores were 25-19, 25-22 and 26-24.Â
UNH improves to 14-9 overall (5-3 AE) after the victory, while the Seawolves drop to 11-11 overall (5-3 AE). The Wildcats now sit in a tie for second place in the America East standings with two weeks left in the regular season.Â
"It was a great team we played against, I thought our offense was good at certain moments, but our defense today was very good," said UNH head coach Christopher Feliciano. Sophomores Kelly Kaufmann (Raleigh, N.C.) and Hannah Serbousek (Fort Collins, Colo.) each chipped in with nine kills apiece. Kaufmann hit at a .409 clip, while Serbousek added seven digs.Â
