The Wildcats were 0-7 on the power play.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The University of New Hampshire women's hockey team, riding a two game win streak into the winter break, traveled to Boston College on Friday evening, where the Wildcats fell to the #2 ranked Eagles, by a final score of 6-0.
The Wildcats have only been shut out twice this season, both times were to ranked opponents; Providence was ranked #10 when they defeated New Hampshire 3-0 in November.
The Wildcats, now 6-4-3 in conference play, will face the Eagles again on Sunday at the Whittemore Center at 2 P.M.

GAME RECAP
- The Eagles scored twice in the first period, eight minutes and 14 minutes into the period.
- BC freshman Daryl Watts tallied four goals in the contest, her first coming on a short-handed try 14 minutes into the first period to put the Eagles up 2-0.
- Watts tallied three more in the second period, twice on even strength and another on the penalty kill to give the Eagles a 5-0 lead after two periods.
- BC iced the game with a power play goal 13 minutes into the third to lead by the final score of 6-0.
