New Stadium, New Fan Experience Await Fans!
DURHAM, N.H. – A new fan-friendly ticket system, a special $9 price for kids' groups and a spectacular fireworks show following the first-ever game highlight the offerings announced by the University of New Hampshire Department of Athletics for the inaugural season of UNH football at Wildcat Stadium.
Single-game tickets are available now by CLICKING HERE, visiting the Whittemore Center Box Office (10 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday), or by calling 603-862-4000 during regular office hours.
The Wildcats unveil their new home Saturday, Sept. 10 against the College of the Holy Cross in a 7 p.m. game that will be televised nationally on the American Sports Network. Longtime head coaching legend Bill Bowes, a 2016 inductee into the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame, will be honored that night, and all fans will enjoy the first postgame fireworks show in UNH football history!
A jam-packed 2016 season promotional calendar with unique and fun promotions, student and fan giveaways and much more will be announced at a later date.
UNH Athletics has partnered with Glitnir Ticketing to create an innovative ticketing system that will provide fans an easier, affordable online purchasing experience directly through UNHWildcats.com.
For the first time, a $12 price for general admission seats in the new stadium has been introduced, which is a lower rate than was offered in the old stadium in 2015. That price point will be available for all youth (age 12 and under), military (active and retired) senior citizens (65 and older) and UNH faculty and staff (Durham, Manchester, UNH Law).
Wildcat Stadium will offer fans a completely new concessions experience with a commitment placed on variety and affordability for families. A new kids menu featuring a $2.50 hot dog highlights the value-added items introduced by University Hospitality Services, the same concessionaire that offers the fresh and healthy food at UNH's award-winning dining halls.
"The gameday experience at Wildcat Stadium will be unlike any other in New England college football, and it is our mission to give families the chance to make incredible memories at a terrific value while cheering our nationally-renowned program to victory," said athletic director Marty Scarano.
All adult tickets in general admission remain the same price ($25) as the vast majority of last year's seating in Cowell Stadium, only now with complete access to the multiple amenities and unique menu items of Wildcat Stadium and a crystal-clear view of the 30-by-50 foot HD videoboard overlooking the stadium's entrance archway.
