Sophie scored four goals for a total of eight points to lead UNH to a 2-0 record last week with a 4-3 overtime win at Maine last Friday and 2-0 victory vs. New Haven on Sunday. Godwin scored two goals in both games to mark the first four goals and points of her career.

With UNH trailing 3-1 at Maine, Sophie scored goals six minutes apart spanning the third and fourth quarters – at 42:18 and 48:21 – to tie the score and the Wildcats went on to win in overtime to improve to 2-0 in America East.

Sophie scored the only two goals of the game in the 2-0 win against New Haven. She broke the scoreless tie by scoring off a rebound at 11:52 and then struck again at 17:36 by sweeping a centering pass into the cage.
