Vinnie Ferrainola

Vinnie Ferrainola joined the UNH women's hockey program as the director of hockey operations in August 2023. His primary responsibilities include the various day to day needs of the women’s hockey program. Ferrainloa specifically handles the team's travel, meals, equipment, and supervision of student managers. He also assists the coaching staff in other areas such as practices, scheduling of ice times, budgeting, and coordination with visiting teams.
Ferrainola was previously a Division I women's ice hockey assistant coach at Saint Anselm College for two seasons (2021-22 and 2022-23). In those two seasons, the Hawks advanced to the NEWHA championship game.
Prior to that, Ferrainola was the director of women's hockey operations at Robert Morris University for one season (October 2020 to May 2021). He assisted with a variety of team-related responsibilities, including equipment and player management, travel planning, scheduling, video production, community engagement and fundraising.
With his assistance, the Colonials won the 2021 College Hockey America Championship and qualified for the NCAA National Collegiate Women's Ice Hockey Championship.
Ferrainola is a 2017 graduate of Point Park University with a degree in Communications with an emphasis on Broadcast Production & Media Management.
