Ty Crabb
- Title:
- Running Backs
Ty Crabb joined the UNH football staff in February 2026. He brings championship experience, elite offensive production, and multi-positional coaching expertise to his role as a Division I Running Backs Coach. With experience at both the FCS and FBS levels, Crabb has contributed to record-setting offenses, conference championships, and bowl victories early in his coaching career.
Most recently, Crabb served at the University of Delaware as an Offensive Analyst – Assistant Quarterbacks Coach (July 2024–May 2025) before transitioning to Offensive Analyst – Assistant Wide Receivers Coach (June 2025–January 2026). During Delaware’s first season transitioning to the FBS level, he played a key role in one of the most explosive offenses in Conference USA. The Blue Hens captured the 68 Ventures Bowl Championship and finished 7–6 in their inaugural FBS campaign. The offense ranked ninth nationally in passing yards per game and led Conference USA in both passing offense and total offense, while finishing third in the league in scoring offense. Delaware produced three all-conference selections in quarterback Nick Minicucci and wide receivers Kyre Duplessis and Sean Wilson, to highlight the unit’s national-level production.
Prior to Delaware, Crabb coached at Christopher Newport University, where he served as Running Backs & Tight Ends Coach (January 2024–June 2024) after beginning the 2023 season as Cornerbacks Coach (July 2023–December 2023). During the 2023 season, CNU captured the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship — the first conference title in program history. That championship team featured an all-conference selection in cornerback Josh Uvodich and finished 15th nationally in both passing defense and total defense. Crabb’s versatility in coaching contributed to one of the most successful seasons in school history.
A former collegiate quarterback, Crabb played at Christopher Newport University from 2019–2022 after beginning his career at Stevenson University from 2017–2018.

With a bowl championship at the FBS level and a conference championship at the Division III level, Crabb has already built a résumé defined by winning, production, and player development. He now brings that championship pedigree and offensive momentum to the Division I running back room.
