Paige DeWitt joined the UNH Volleyball team as an assistant coach in July 2024, where she played a key role in coaching the team to an America East Championship and securing their first NCAA Tournament bid since 2016.
DeWitt graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg in 2017, where she had an outstanding college playing career. As a setter, she was a 4-year starter and a 4-year AMCC Peak Performer, maintaining a GPA of 3.75 or higher.Â
DeWitt also holds individual records for career and single-season assists in the program's history and was named Bobcat Female Athlete of the Year. Additionally, she earned AMCC All-Conference honors twice and AMCC All-Academic honors four times, leading her team to its furthest playoff run in program history.
In 2017 DeWitt began her tenure at Rider University as a volunteer volleyball assistant before becoming an assistant coach in 2018. There, she assisted the team to achieve a record-setting season, helping them place third in the MAAC with a program-record 12 conference wins. The team advanced to the conference semifinals for the first time and finished with the highest win total since 1994.Â
In 2023, at Pennsbury High School, DeWitt helped the team achieve its longest playoff berth since 2013 and coached five All-Conference players and two All-District players, the most in the program's history since 2016. She has also coached numerous national teams at the Princeton Volleyball Club, leading them to greater success year after year.
Beyond her professional achievements, she has a unique background in Polynesian dancing, reflecting her Hawaiian heritage. She is an avid Marvel movie fan and her favorite athlete is LeBron James. DeWitt values the family-oriented atmosphere at UNH, appreciating the welcoming environment for her son and husband, and the strong sense of community. She and her husband, who are college sweethearts, have been together since 2014.Â
DeWitt’s dedication to her sport, her athletes, and her family, makes her an integral part of the UNH community.
