Luca Villeneuve, a recent 2024 graduate from the College of Health and Human Services as a Sport Management and Marketing major, joined the department as Manager of Marketing and Fan Engagement in August of 2024. During her time at UNH, Luca joined the Wildcat Internship Program in the fall of 2021 where she interned in the marketing and communications department developing skills in stats, graphic design, social media, and overall marketing and communications strategies.

In addition, Luca also served as a lead social media intern for the UNH Men’s Hockey team and completed her bucket list of attending all Hockey East Schools during the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 season. She played a key role as a vertical storyteller for the 2024 Women’s Frozen Four hosted at the Whittemore Center back in March of 2024.

Previously, Luca interned with the Portland Sea Dogs, Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox in the Summer of 2023 as a communications intern where she deepened her appreciation for Minor League Baseball. In the summer of 2024, Luca was appointed Assistant Manager of Marketing and Fan Engagement with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, in Manchester, N.H, There she applied her expertise to promote the team through social media, create engaging in-game content and manage promotions in collaboration of team sponsors in order to engage fans.

Outside of college, Luca grew up in Southern California but always had an appreciation for New England lifestyle before she relocated to the New England area to pursue her career in Sport Marketing. As a passionate sports fan, Luca spends her free time watching her favorite teams: the Bruins, Red Sox, and Dodgers.
