KJ Parmer
- Title:
- Wide Receivers | Pass Game Coordinator
KJ Parmer enters his first season at the University of New Hampshire in 2026 as Wide Receivers Coach and Pass Game Coordinator.Â
Prior to arriving in Durham, Parmer spent two seasons (2024-2025) at the University of Tennessee as the Assistant Wide Receivers Coach. In the 2024 season, Dont’e Thornton averaged 25.4 yards per catch, which led FBS, and was selected in the fourth round of the NFL draft by the Las Vegas Raiders. In 2025, the Volunteers had the most productive wide receiver trio in the SEC. Chris Brazzell II, Braylon Staley, and Mike Matthews all recorded over 800 yards receiving, with Brazzell and Staley earning post-season accolades. Brazzell received First Team All-SEC, as well as All-America Third Team honors. Brazzell was also named a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award, recognizing the nation’s top receiver. Staley was named the SEC Freshman of the Year by both the coaches and the Associated Press.
Prior to Knoxville, Parmer spent one season in Boone, N.C. at Appalachian State University as the Assistant Wide Receivers Coach. That season, the team finished the season 9-5, capped off with a victory in the Cure Bowl.Â
Parmer began his coaching career at his alma mater, the University of West Georgia as the Wide Receivers coach. During that time, West Georgia produced multiple all-conference wide receivers, as well as All-American Mechane Slade, who set the UWG single-season reception record. During the 2022 season, the Wolves were electrifying as they finished the year No. 1 in Division II for total offense.
