Ian Bodwell

Ian Bodwell, a 1999 graduate, rejoined the New Hampshire Track and Field coaching staff in the 2025-26 season, returning to his alma matter after 11 years away from the program.
Bodwell was a standout athlete during his time in Durham, competing in the pole vault, with highlights including a second-place finish in the conference championship during his outdoor season in 1999.
Immediately after graduating, Ian joined the UNH staff and coached from 1999 to 2014, developing some of the most successful vaulters in program history. With the Wildcats, his coaching résumé includes multiple school record holders, conference and New England champions, and guiding an athlete to the 2008 NCAA National Championship.
