Emmakate O'Donnell, a 2025 graduate from the University of Maine with a double major in Sport Management and Marketing, joined the department as a Marketing Graduate Assistant in August of 2025 where she is particularly focused on promoting women’s sports. During her time at UMaine, Emmakate served as a Marketing Assistant for the UMaine Athletics Department throughout all four years of her undergraduate career, where she gained hands-on experience in game day operations, promotions, fan engagement, and digital marketing.

In the summer of 2024, Emmakate interned with the Vermont Lake Monsters, a Futures League Collegiate Baseball team, as a Promotions Intern. There, she helped execute in-game entertainment, theme nights, and collaborated with sponsors to create an engaging ballpark experience for fans of all ages.

Originally from Colchester, Vermont, Emmakate’s passion for sports and community engagement drove her to pursue a career in sports marketing. She brings energy, creativity, and a strong foundation of experience to her role as she continues her journey in collegiate athletics.
