Wildcat Internship Program - Communications
About the Internship
As a member of the UNH Athletics Communications Team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Assisting the communications staff in all aspects of daily operations.
Contributing to managing team social media accounts and producing weekly posts.
Serving as a statistician at games.
Writing feature stories, game recaps and press releases for UNHWildcats.com.
Producing in-game social media coverage on Instagram story, Twitter and Facebook.
Making photo galleries and various engaging posts.
Updating game day graphics and score graphics with Adobe Photoshop.
Producing Game Day Central Pages for UNHWildcats.com.
Covering media days and press conferences.
Updating player bios and various pages on UNHWildcats.com.
Time Commitment
As a volunteer, a minimum of four office hours a week and additional hours covering UNH Athletics events is required. As a student pursuing the internship for credit, you must meet the required hours a week for your specific class through your major. Also all interns must be available to work three out of the five home football games with at least one being either Family Weekend or Homecoming. Interns are expected to commit to being a member of the Wildcat Internship Program for both the Fall and Spring semesters.

Applications for the Communications track of the Wildcat Internship Program for the 2026-27 academic year will be open from March 1-April 15, 2026.
