2008 ~ Uitti served as the team’s captainfor the second consecutive season… Uitti climbed up theall-time assist leaders list as she collected a team-high 645assists, improving to 2,653 career assists, second only to StaceyBarnett (3,977)… Led the team in assists per game with7.87… Ranked sixth in the America East Conference in totalassists… Uitti played in 82 games and 24 matches, including17 starts… Compiled the third-best dig total on the teamwith 144, while tallying 20 kills and 17 blocks… Had two50-plus assists efforts, 51 against UMBC on Nov. 2 and aseason-high 52 assists against rival Maine in a 3-2 win on Oct.26… Uitti was named to the America East Academic Honor Rollwith a GPA of 3.0 or better.
