Volleyball Receives Pair of AVCA Academic Awards

The Wildcats finished with a cumulative GPA of 3.68 in the 2025-26 school year.
LEXINGTON, Ky. — The University of New Hampshire women's volleyball program was named a recipient of both the 2026 America Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award and the 2026 AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the organization on Thursday (July 23).
With the honor, the Wildcats mark the 12th time in program history having received the AVCA Team Academic Award and extend their streak to six-consecutive seasons with the honor.
To be eligible, programs must maintain a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale).
Last year, the Wildcats posted a team GPA of 3.63 during competition season before posting a 3.73 GPA in the spring semester.
Additionally, the Wildcats took home their third-consecutive Team Academic Honor Roll award, presented to programs representing the top 20% of GPAs nationally by division. This year, New Hampshire was one of only two America East programs to earn the distinction.
In April, America East recognized its Fall 2025 Academic Honor Roll which recognized 18 members of the women's volleyball team, highlighted by 14 student-athletes who were selected to the Commissioner's Honor Roll for finishing the fall semester with a GPA of 3.50 or higher.
