DURHAM, N.H. – University of New Hampshire Athletics has announced a new multi-year partnership with Bauer Hockey, reinforcing a long-standing relationship that supports the UNH men's and women's ice hockey programs with industry-leading equipment and performance resources.
Bauer will continue to serve as the official equipment provider for UNH Hockey, supplying skates, sticks, protective gear, and apparel. The ongoing alliance reflects a shared commitment to maximizing student-athlete performance, fostering innovation, and supporting both programs at a high level.
"We are extremely excited to continue and expand our partnership with Bauer Hockey," said Fumi Kimura, UNH Deputy Director of Athletics. "Bauer has been a significant partner in providing reliable, performance-driven equipment for our student-athletes. As the landscape of hockey continues to evolve, this relationship allows us to stay competitive and continue building on the strength and identity of UNH Hockey."
"At Bauer Hockey, we are incredibly proud to continue our longstanding partnership with the University of New Hampshire men's and women's hockey programs: two programs that represent excellence, leadership, and a deep legacy within the hockey community," said Mary-Kay Messier, Bauer Chief Marketing Officer. "Beyond outfitting UNH athletes with Bauer equipment, this collaboration is rooted in a shared commitment to developing not only elite athletes, but leaders and role models who positively impact the game beyond the rink and their communities. With our campuses located just miles apart in Exeter and Durham, the proximity allows us to work closely together on athlete insight, product innovation, and the continued evolution of the game. We are excited to continue supporting both programs as they pursue championships while proudly representing the Bauer brand."
As the Wildcat hockey teams prepare for the upcoming season, UNH continues to invest in the student-athlete experience, including enhancements to hockey-specific spaces within the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group Complex that support training, development, and daily operations. With construction underway and completion targeted for the end of 2026, the project will transform the facility to better support student-athlete training, development and performance.
