Service Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week: Emma Reaves and Aidan Shea

DURHAM, N.H. –Freshman Emma Reaves (Westminster, Md.) and graduate student Aidan Shea (Amherst, Mass.) of the University of New Hampshire track and field teams were named the Service Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week on April 14.

Emma placed second in the discus throw at the LaFreniere Commonwealth Invitational with a Personal Record of 149 feet and, three inches. Her best throw came on her fifth of sixth attempts. Emma now ranks second in the America East this season in the Discus.

Emma also finished seventh in the shot put (43' 1.75") at the meet, which was held April 13. She is currently ranked third in America East in shot put.

The Wildcats return to action on Friday and Saturday, April 18-19, when they travel to UMass Lowell for the George Davis Invitational.

Aidan placed sixth out of 81 athletes with a time of 4 minutes, 6.66 seconds in the mile at the Friar Invitational, which was held April 11 at Providence College. He was one of two Wildcat runners to place in the top 10 in the event.

Aidan's converted time of 3:48.39 is third fastest in the 1,500 meter in America East this season.

The Wildcats return to action on Friday and Saturday, April 18-19, when they travel to UMass Lowell for the George Davis Invitational.
