Service Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week: Olivia Chamberlain and Nathan Fletcher

DURHAM, N.H. - Junior Olivia Chamberlain (Warnerville, N.Y.) of the University of New Hampshire women's track & field team and sophomore Nathan Fletcher (Portsmouth, N.H.) of the UNH men's track & field team have been named the Service Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week on April 22.

Olivia broke the women's long jump school record by recording a distance of 5.73m (18 feet, 9.75 inches) at the George Davis Invitational, hosted by UMass Lowell on Saturday, April 20. The previous record was 5.69m (18-8) set by Emma Checovich in 2018. Olivia also took first in the triple jump with a distance of 11.40m.

The 'Cats will return home April 26-27 when they will be competing in the Pre-Conference meet at the Reggie F. Atkins Track and Field Facility.

Nathan set a school record in the men's 400m run with a time of 47.74 seconds. The previous record was 48.10 seconds, held by Travis Parker in 2005. In addition to the record, Nathan ran the 4x100m relay with Andrew Kelly (Portsmouth, N.H.), Nathan Fletcher (Portsmouth, N.H.), Michael Mulcahy (Weymouth, Mass.), and Gunnar Sokol (Berwick, Maine) and finished first with a time of 42.70.
