Service Credit Union Student-Athletes Of The Week: Mackenzie MacEachern & Yoofi Abaka-Amuah

DURHAM, N.H. - Senior Mackenzie MacEachern (Bedford, N.H.) of the University of New Hampshire lacrosse team and sophomore Yoofi Abaka-Amuah (Worcester Mass.) of the UNH men's track & field team have been named the Service Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week on April 15.
Mackenzie recorded a season-high five points in Saturday's game at Binghamton. She scored four goals, tallied an assist, and recorded a career-high (team-leading) eight draw controls. Mackenzie also had a team-high two ground balls. She also has 155 career draw controls, which is the best among active Wildcats, and 95 career points.
UNH returns to action April 20 (12 p.m.) at Bryant University. The Wildcats' next home game is the regular-season finale, a Senior Day matchup against UAlbany on April 27 (12 p.m.).

Yoofi took first in the shot put, throwing for 16.58 meters at the UMass Commonwealth Invitational on April 13. This is his second first-place finish of the season and the fourth of his career. He also placed second in the discus throw with a personal-record distance of 47.15m.
The 'Cats will return to action Friday, April 19, when they compete at the George Davis Invitational hosted by UMass Lowell.
