Ryan Conmy scores goal for Wildcats
BOSTON – Sophomore forward Ryan Conmy (Alexandria, Va ) scored for the Wildcats, while junior goaltender Jared Whale (Calgary, Alberta) made 28 saves as the University of New Hampshire men's hockey team tied Northeastern, 1-1, on Saturday evening at Matthews Arena. Northeastern earned the extra point for winning the shootout 1-0.
UNH took four out of the six points versus Northeastern including a 4-1 win on Friday.
The Wildcats are now 4-3-2 overall (1-2-2 Hockey East), while the Huskies are 1-5-3 (0-3-3 Hockey East).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- At 5:11 of the second period, Conmy opened up the scoring with a shot glove side off of a breakaway pass from senior forward Liam Devlin (Needham, Mass.). Senior defenseman Colton Huard (Foothill Ranch, Calif.). set up the goal with a pass to Devlin.
- Northeastern tied it up at 6:43 in the third period, when Christophe Teller scored a goal off a rebound on a shot from Jackson Dorrington.
- The game would go to a shootout and after two scoreless rounds, Dylan Hryckowian gave the Huskies the extra point as he clinched the shootout win by scoring glove side.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- The Wildcats lead the all-time series, 102-76-17 and are 4-0-1 versus the Huskies over the last five games.
- Conmy has at least one point in seven of the eight games he has played in this season with six goals and four assists for 10 points.
