Men’s Hockey Posts 14 on Hockey East All-Academic Team

Jeremy Forman and Chase Stevenson earn honor for the third time.

AMESBURY, Mass. – Fourteen members of the 2022-23 University of New Hampshire men's hockey team have been named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team.

To qualify, a student-athlete must have recorded a 3.00 GPA or above for each semester.

Junior Jeremy Forman (Northbrook, Ill.) and senior captain Chase Stevenson (West Kelowna, British Columbia) earned this accolade for the third time, while junior Nick Cafarelli (Middleton, Mass.), sophomore alternate captain Alex Gagne (Bedford, N.H.), senior Joe Hankinson (Hopkins, Minn.) and sophomore Connor Sweeney (North Andover, Mass.) were selected for the second time.

UNH's first time honorees were graduate student Ryan Black (Pomfret, Conn.), freshman Damien Carfagna (Wood-Ridge, N.J.), sophomore Nico DeVita (Bellevue, Wash.), junior Raphael Gaughan (Somersworth, N.H.), junior Nikolai Jenson (Cold Spring, Minn.), freshman Cy LeClerc (Brentwood, N.H.), sophomore Will Margel (Potomac, Md.) and freshman Tyler Muszelik (Long Valley, N.J.).
