Cheerleading Wins Two National Titles; Crowned 2023 Grand National Champions

Wildcats excel at 2023 NCA Collegiate National Championships
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The University of New Hampshire Cheerleading Team attended the 2023 National Cheerleading Association Collegiate National Championships and secured both the Advanced All-Girl Division I and Intermediate All-Girl Division I National Titles on Friday, April 7.
The "Blue Crew" from UNH competed in the Intermediate All-Girl Division I against 20 other teams. In the preliminary round the team had a solid performance that put them in second place by only tenths of a point heading into finals. During the final round of competition the team executed their strongest performance of the year scoring a 97.6782 and securing the National Title.
The UNH "White Squad" competed against six other teams and secured the title in the Advanced All-Girl Division I and qualified to participate in the Grand Championship round of competition on Saturday, April 8. The Wildcats competed against the three All Girl National Champions from Divisions 1A, 2 and 3. UNH executed a flawless performance in the final round and was crowned the 2023 NCA All-Girl GRAND National Champions. The team scored a 97.7778 which is the highest score in program history.
This is the second time an NCA title has been won in UNH Cheerleading history. The last time the Wildcats won a cheerleading national championship was 2017.
