Service Credit Union Student-Athletes Of The Week: Luci Anderson and Kevin McGrath

DURHAM, N.H. -- Senior Luci Anderson (Golden Valley, Minn.) of the University of New Hampshire skiing team and grad student Kevin McGrath (Hopkinton, N.H.) of the UNH men's track and field team were named the Service Credit Union Student-Athletes of the week on Feb. 20.

Luci Anderson (Golden Valley, Minn.) was named EISA Skier of the Week after a weekend at the Williams Carnival at Prospect Mountain, where she recorded a pair of podium finishes. On Friday, Luci finished third place in the 10k classic with a time of 36 minutes, 23.2 seconds, right behind teammate Jasmine Lyons. The Wildcats return to action at the EISA Championships/NCAA East Regionals at the St. Lawrence Carnival on Feb. 24-25.

Kevin McGrath (Hopkinton, N.H.) captured his second consecutive conference indoor title in high jump this past weekend at the America East Indoor Championships at the TRACK at New Balance in Boston. With a height of 6 feet, 8.25 inches (2.04 meters), Kevin took home the win for the Wildcats in the high jump over 14 other competitors. He successfully cleared 1.96m, 2.01m and 2.04m on his first attempt; only one other competitor advanced to his winning height.

The Wildcats return to action Friday, March 3 for the IC4A/ECAC Championships with the conclusion of the competition happening on Sunday, March 5.
