Men’s Hockey Ranked #15/16 in National Polls

Wildcats are off to their best start in six years.
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's hockey team is ranked No. 15 in the USCHO.com Poll and No. 16 in the USA Hockey/The Rink Live Poll.
The last time the Wildcats were ranked in the USCHO.com Poll was on Jan. 1, 2018 when they were No. 20, while the last time UNH was ranked in the USA Hockey/The Rink Live Poll was on Dec. 4, 2017, when the 'Cats were No. 13.
UNH's 4-1-0 record is its best start to a season in six years when the Wildcats went 5-0-0 to begin 2017-18. The Wildcats have three wins over nationally ranked teams as UNH defeated No. 1 Boston University, 6-4, on Oct. 13, No. 4 Quinnipiac 5-4, on Oct. 21 and No. 17 Northeastern, 4-1, on Oct. 26.
The Wildcats return to action versus No. 7 Providence presented by ALKU on Friday, Nov. 3 at the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group Complex at 7 p.m. on ESPN+. The UNH Marching Band will perform on the ice during the first intermission. Also, there will be a Coat Drive in the lobby for 'Cats Cupboard.
