DURHAM, N.H. -- Sophomore midfielder Meghan Guarente (Sewell, N.J.) of the women's soccer team and junior running back Dylan Laube (Westhampton, N.Y.) of the football team were named the Service Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week on Sept. 12.
Meghan led the Wildcats with three goals and one assist on Sunday afternoon as the University of New Hampshire women's soccer team defeated Boston University, 4-1, at Wildcat Stadium. She was honored as America East Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 12.
With the efforts from Guarente, the team set season highs in three categories; most goals scored in a game, most points scored in a game and the most assists notched in a game.
Her three goals was the most scored by a Wildcat since Oct. 3, 2004, when Chiara Best had three tallies against UMBC. The last time a 'Cat had more than seven points in a game was when Jackie Wiskoski had five goals and an assist for 11 points vs. Northeastern on Nov. 4, 2003.
The Wildcats return to action Sunday, Sept. 18 at Wildcat Stadium when they face off against America East opponent UAlbany with a 2 p.m. kickoff.
Dylan carried UNH to a 28-23 road win against UAlbany on Sept. 10 that put the Wildcats atop the CAA standings at 2-0. He recorded career highs in rushes (32), rushing yards (202), and rushing touchdowns (three), and also had a punt return for one yard to finish with 203 all-purpose yards. Dylan was named CAA Football co-Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 12.
The junior eclipsed 1,000 career rushing yards during his third career 100-yard rushing game and is currently at 1,084; he also surpassed 3,000 career all-purpose yards at 3,091.
Laube became the first Wildcat to rush for 200 or more yards in a game since Sept. 22, 2012, when Nico Steriti had 21 carries for 201 yards and two rushing TDs. Laube's 202 rushing yards is the highest total by a 'Cat since UNH Hall of Fame inductee Jerry Azumah toted the ball 22 times for 259 yards against East Stroudsburg on Sept. 19, 1998.

New Hampshire returns to action Sept. 17 against North Carolina Central University at Wildcat Stadium. Game time for Youth Sports Night is 6 p.m.
