New Hampshire concludes the regular season with a pair of home games against UC Davis (Oct. 28; 2 p.m.) and Stanford University (Oct. 30; 1 p.m.).
Sean was named the FedEx Ground FCS National Special Teams Player of the Week by Stats Perform and the CAA Special Teams Player of the Week following an impressive performance in the UNH football team's 40-22 victory against 21st-ranked Elon University in front of a Family Weekend crowd of 14,137 at Wildcat Stadium on Oct. 22.
Sean averaged 44.8 yards on his five punts and had kicks downed on the 1, 4, 1, and 5-yard lines of Elon. The punt to the Elon 4 led to a safety that gave the Wildcats a 23-7 lead at 2:35 of the second quarter.
Two of his punts sailed over 50 yards, including a 56 yarder.
Sean is averaging 41.1 yards per punt for the season. New Hampshire is ranked No. 11 in the nation and second in the CAA in net punting at 39.65.
New Hampshire, which climbed six spots to No. 19 in this week's national poll, returns to action Nov. 5 at No. 19/21 University of Richmond. The Wildcats' next home game is Senior Day on Nov. 12 against No. 22/19 University of Rhode Island.
