Liam Devlin Named Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week

Devlin posted one goal and one assist for two points at the Ledyard Classic.
AMESBURY, Mass. – University of New Hampshire freshman forward Liam Devlin (Needham, Mass.) has been named the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week. This is his first career Hockey East Weekly accolade.
Devlin posted one goal and one assist for two points on the week at the Ledyard Classic in Hanover, N.H. He tallied an assist on UNH's lone goal of the game versus Dartmouth in the 3-1 loss on Dec. 30 and then recorded his fifth goal of the season in the 7-1 win over Mercyhurst on Dec. 31. His five goals are ranked second on the team, while he also has two assists for seven points. His five goals are also tied for third in Hockey East by freshmen.
The Wildcats return to action on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 7-8 at the Whittemore Center as UNH will play St. Lawrence presented by Tuscan Brands on Friday at 7 p.m. and then Clarkson on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Go here for tickets or call 603-862-4000.
