Twelve fall home contests will air on ESPN platforms.
DURHAM, N.H. - Through the University of New Hampshire's partnership with ESPN, the Worldwide Leader in Sports, UNH will stream a total of 12 contests on ESPN3 and ESPN+ during the fall athletics season, featuring the Wildcats men's and women's soccer and volleyball programs.
The first broadcast kicks off Thursday, Sept. 2 with the women's soccer team's game versus St. Francis Brooklyn at 6 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium. All broadcasts will be produced by UNH Wildcat Productions.
The fall season will feature six women's soccer contests, four volleyball matches and two men's soccer games.
UNH enters the sixth year of its partnership with ESPN, which has vaulted Wildcat programs to the national stage and wider audiences. Over the last five years, UNH has broadcast more than 150 games for nine sports on ESPN platforms. The connection has elevated awareness of the UNH Athletics' brand and raised the profile of all Wildcat athletic teams.
"We are very excited to have six of our home matches streamed live on these ESPN platforms," said Steve Welham, UNH women's soccer head coach. "As our women's soccer program continues to evolve on an upward trajectory it is paramount that our fanbase, recruits and alumni can access our games and feel a part of this positive vibe around our program. This is essential in the branding of UNH women's soccer as it will allow supporters a first class 'birds eye view' into our season and beyond. It not only furthers our recruiting reach across the nation it also gives families of current players outside the region the opportunity to see games live that they wouldn't otherwise."
ESPN3 and ESPN+ are accessible through the ESPN App on computers, smartphones, tablets and most major streaming devices, as well as through ESPN.com.
Below is the current schedule of UNH ESPN broadcasts. Any additional games along with the full men's and women's basketball broadcast schedule will be announced at a later date. Dates and times are subject to change.
